Job Description

Key Responsibilities * Lead daily field operations for commercial electrical and low\-voltage construction projects within secure government and defense facilities. * Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure project milestones are achieved safely, on time, and within budget. * Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of low\-voltage systems, including: * Structured cabling * Fiber optic infrastructure * Access control systems * Video surveillance (CCTV) * Intrusion detection systems * Public address systems * Network infrastructure * Audio/visual systems * Distributed antenna systems (DAS) * Building automation and integrated security systems * Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, submittals, and construction documents to ensure work complies with contract requirements. * Coordinate with project managers, owners, government representatives, inspectors, and other trades to resolve field issues and maintain project progress. * Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and site\-specific security protocols. * Manage project schedules, Client planning, material deliveries, and equipment utilization. * Perform quality control inspections and ensure installations meet applicable codes, industry standards, and customer requirements. * Maintain accurate daily reports, progress documentation, and as\-built records. * Ensure compliance with all security procedures associated with classified construction environments, including safeguarding controlled materials and coordinating secure access. * Mentor field personnel and promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement. Required Qualifications * Minimum of 7–10 years of commercial electrical construction experience. * Minimum of 5 years of superintendent or field leadership experience. * Extensive knowledge of commercial low\-voltage systems and infrastructure. * Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA regulations, and commercial construction practices. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and project specifications. * Experience coordinating multiple trades on fast\-paced construction projects. * Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem\-solving skills. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software. * Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required. Preferred Qualifications * Experience working on federal, military, intelligence community, or other secure government construction projects. * Electrical Journeyman or Master Electrician license (where applicable). * OSHA 30\-Hour Construction Certification. * CPR/First Aid Certification. * Experience with commissioning, testing, and turnover of mission\-critical facilities. * Knowledge of UFC, ICD, and other federal construction standards is a plus. Physical Requirements * Ability to walk active construction sites for extended periods. * Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and navigate uneven terrain. * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. * Ability to work in varying weather and construction site conditions.
