**Company Overview** -------------------- A General Contractor specializing in general contracting, design\-build, and construction services for federal and private\-sector clients throughout the Mid\-Atlantic region. **Position Description** ------------------------ Seeking a full\-time **Senior Project Manager** to support a large multiple\-award federal design\-build program. This position offers long\-term career potential and provides an opportunity to lead the successful execution of complex federal construction projects. The Senior Project Manager will oversee project teams, coordinate with subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders, and lead multidisciplinary teams throughout all phases of project delivery. Primary responsibilities include preconstruction planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, day\-to\-day project management, subcontractor oversight, project closeout, and overall project financial performance (P\&L). The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a commitment to building and maintaining positive client relationships. **Qualifications \& Required Skills** ------------------------------------- * Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Other bachelor's degrees may be considered. * U.S. citizenship required. * Minimum of 10 years of experience managing design\-build construction projects. * One or more of the following certifications or professional registrations is preferred: + Active Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential issued by the Construction Manager Certification Institute. + Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. + Active Designated Design\-Build Professional® (DBIA) certification. + Active Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license. * Candidates without a degree, certification, or professional license must have an additional 10 years of construction management experience (20 years total). * Experience managing firm\-fixed\-price federal construction projects, including both design\-build and design\-bid\-build delivery methods, is preferred. * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Working knowledge of NAVFAC, USACE, WHS, FBI, and other federal agency contract vehicles. * Strong financial and cost management experience with firm\-fixed\-price construction contracts. * Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, scheduling software, Procore, Bluebeam, and other construction management tools. * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. * Self\-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. * High attention to detail, strong sense of urgency, and a reputation for accountability and timely follow\-through. * Must currently hold, or be eligible to obtain, a government security clearance. **Benefits** ------------ Competitive benefits package that includes: * Paid leave for all 11 federal holidays. * Two weeks of paid vacation/personal leave accrued throughout the year. * Employer\-subsidized health insurance. * Company\-matched 401(k) retirement plan. * Paid job\-related training and professional development opportunities. * Shared\-cost tuition reimbursement for approved, career\-related coursework that supports professional certification and career advancement.
