We are currently recruiting for the role of
**Senior Information System Analyst** (1 – Permanent – Full\-Time Position)
**The Role:**
The Senior Information Systems Analyst plays a pivotal role as both a strategic and operational intermediary, effectively connecting end users, the Information Management \& Cybersecurity team, and vendor support organizations. This multifaceted position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including application support, detailed business analysis, innovative process design, and comprehensive system configuration. The analyst will spearhead initiatives to implement and optimize various application software platforms, including critical systems such as the Financial Management System (FMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Enterprise Resource Planning solutions (ERP). In doing so, they will ensure that these initiatives align seamlessly with the organization’s overarching goals, adhere to stringent security standards, and meet the diverse needs of users. This role is not just about maintaining existing systems; it involves actively contributing to the growth and enhancement of the Information Management \& Cybersecurity department's services and processes. As a result, the Senior Information Systems Analyst is integral to driving efficiency and effectiveness within the organization’s technological framework.
As part of a small and collaborative team, all members contribute to the administrative and operational activities required to support departmental success. Accordingly, the Senior Information Systems Analyst may assist with tasks such as maintaining documentation, coordinating communications, organizing information, and supporting other departmental processes as needed. These responsibilities complement the role's technical and strategic accountabilities and reflect a collaborative approach to service delivery.
**Core Areas of Responsibilities**
*System Management*
* Utilize ticketing systems ***(Freshworks)***and knowledge bases to track, manage, and resolve support requests efficiently.
* Collaborate with other Information Management \& Cybersecurity department’s services and processes.
* Ensure timely resolution of issues and continuous improvement of support processes.
* Configure systems, including workflows, permissions, and forms
* Manage application onboarding and decommissioning
* Liaise with vendor support teams to resolve issues and implement updates
*Business Analysis \& Process Design*
* Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders
* Design and document current and future state workflows
* Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
* Support integration between applications to enable seamless data flow
*Documentation \& Training*
* Contributes to the development and maintenance of support documentation and FAQs to enhance self\-service resources.
* Deliver application/system training sessions to end users with varying levels of digital literacy
* Maintain documentation for system configurations and process changes
*ProjectManagement*
* Support the Information Management \& Cybersecurity department’s services and processes.
* Coordinate business projects related to application implementation and enhancement
* Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
* Facilitate cross\-functional teams and manage stakeholder communications
* Track and monitor project progress, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes
* Support change management and post\-implementation reviews
*Governance \& Collaboration*
* Ensure application configurations align with cybersecurity and data governance standards
* Provide feedback to leadership on system performance and user needs
* Participate in internal committees and cross\-functional projects
***Experience, Education, and Credentials***
* Diploma or degree in business analysis, information systems, or related field
* 5\-7 years of experience in application support, business analysis, or system configuration
* Experience with configurable platforms
* Exposure to Microsoft Business Central
* Strong documentation and communication skills
* Experience coordinating and participating in projects
***Preferred***
* Experience in non\-profit or public sector environments
* Experience with Fresh work products
* Familiarity with data governance and cybersecurity principles
* Certifications such as ITSM, CBAP, CAPM, ITIL, or BPMN are an asset
