As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc. Schedule\- Sat and Sun 08:00\-20:00 Location\- L8M 1W9 **What's in it for you?** ------------------------- * Hourly wage of $18\.97 * We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy * Flexible schedules with various shifts available * Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld * Full\-time \& part\-time opportunities * Uniform provided at no cost **Responsibilities for Tactical Security Guard** ------------------------------------------------ * Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols to identify safety hazards, security concerns, and suspicious activity. * Respond to security calls, emergencies, alarms, and incidents in a timely and professional manner. * Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and security equipment to ensure proper operation. * Perform access control duties, including verifying identification and controlling entry to secure areas. * Assist with emergency response procedures, including fire safety protocols and coordination with emergency services. * Prepare accurate daily reports, incident reports, and documentation of security activities. * Communicate effectively using radios, phones, email, and other security communication systems. * Provide assistance during incidents involving patients, visitors, staff, and emergency situations while maintaining professionalism. * Support investigations by gathering information and reporting security concerns. * Maintain confidentiality and follow all site privacy and safety requirements. * Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive interactions while de\-escalating challenging situations. * Work collaboratively with healthcare teams, management, and law enforcement when required. **Qualifications for Tactical Security Guard** ---------------------------------------------- * Be authorized to work in Canada * Hold a valid security license * First aid certification required * Ability to stand and walk throughout shift This posting is for a position that is currently vacant within the organization.
