RADAR Subject Matter Expert

**Position Summary** -------------------- SigmaCorps Solutions is seeking a Radar Subject Matter Expert to provide advanced technical expertise in radar programmatics and act as a Subject Matter Expert in radar and related electronics engineering domains in support of the PM GBAD Fixed Site portfolio. *This position is contingent upon contract award.* **Key Responsibilities** ------------------------ * Provide advanced technical expertise in radar programmatics. * Act as a Subject Matter Expert in radar and related electronics engineering domains. * Support investigation, analysis, and assessment of radar systems and related technical issues. * Assist in the review and preparation of technical analysis and documentation related to radar programmatics. **Required Qualifications** --------------------------- * Fifteen (15\) or more years of radar systems or radar programmatics engineering experience. * Demonstrated expertise in radar and related electronics engineering domains. * Experience supporting DoD radar programs and technical documentation. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. **Preferred Skills** -------------------- * Prior PM GBAD, MARCORSYSCOM, or air defense radar experience. * Top Secret clearance eligibility. * Engineering certification relevant to radar or electronics engineering. * Military/DoD background preferred; veteran strongly preferred. **Education** ------------- * Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical preferred) or a related technical field required. * Additional technical training or certifications in a related field are a plus. **Working Conditions** ---------------------- * Standard office environment at the contractor facility within 15 miles of MARCORSYSCOM Headquarters, Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA; unclassified telework authorized via approved VPN at Government discretion. * CONUS and OCONUS travel as required, approved in advance by the Government; personnel must be able to travel to any CONUS/OCONUS DoD or contractor facility within 24 hours of notification (representative locations: Quantico, San Diego, Los Angeles, Midland, Okinawa). OCONUS travel may require a SPOT Letter of Authorization. * Work is conducted within an ISO 9001:2015\-certified Quality Management System. * Performance requires support of a facility operating with an active Top Secret Facility Clearance and Secret safeguarding. **Security Clearance Requirements** ----------------------------------- This position requires an Active SECRET security clearance at the start of performance. Candidates must be eligible to receive and use a Common Access Card (CAC). Classified handling responsibilities are executed in compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), DoDI 5200\.01, and the applicable DD\-254\.
