**Classification:** Regular, Full\-time
**Schedule:** Monday – Friday 1\.0 FTE
**Location:** Onsite, position may be assigned to work at both IHC locations
**Grant End Date:** ZSI until 3/31/27; SAPTA until 4/30/27
**SUMMARY:**
Under the direction of the Health Promotion Services Director, this position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing stigma reduction, prevention, and outreach activities for the Behavioral Health Department.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** The information in this job description indicates the general nature and level of work performed. 1\. Assist with planning and coordination of the program and its activities.
2\. Monitor implementation of program policies and practices.
3\. Work to keep the program and activities on schedule, within stated budgets and functioning smoothly.
4\. Support program growth and development as necessary.
5\. Coordinate program communications.
6\. Oversee the program budget, including tracking expenditures.
7\. Prepare clear and concise program related reports.
8\. Coordinate interactions/relationships between staff, clients, administrators, and all other program stakeholders.
9\. Schedule and organize program\-related meetings and events.
10\. Develop program materials such as flyers, brochures, and promotional resources.
11\. Oversee the use of technology for program operations, such as video conferencing technology, presentation software and other communications technologies.
12\. Create and maintain program records, reports, presentations, and proposals.
13\. Facilitate positive relations between the program team, the public, and the media.
14\. Collaborate with the marketing department on the creation of program related marketing and communications (media relations, social media).
15\. Position may be re\-assigned during activation of EOP.
**ZSI Functions:**
1\. Serve as navigator to facilitate the gathering of intake and subsequent data as required and determine readiness of program.
2\. Serve as peer support for clients who are in various behavioral health programs/services.
3\. Perform partial case management.
4\. Provide assistance with group workshops as implemented by the behavioral health department.
**SAPTA Functions:**
1\. Act as the primary point of contact for both SAPTA clients and SUD Counselors.
2\. Schedule substance abuse appointments for clients. Resolve scheduling conflicts in collaboration with business operations and behavioral health personnel. Notify clients of scheduling changes/cancelations and prioritize urgency of appointments. Monitor client waitlist.
3\. Accurately explain established rules and regulations to clients and the public regarding eligibility criteria for accessing substance abuse counseling services under the SAPTA program.
4\. Schedule transportation for clients, scheduling pick\-up and drop\-off time, and coordinate and communicate with drivers.
5\. Checks clients in for appointments and generates clinical encounters within the practice management system. Updates required client information fields as required.
**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
**TRAVEL \& DRIVING REQUIREMENTS**
* Travel is not required for this position.
* Driving is required for this position.
**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE**
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Associate degree preferred.
* 4 years’ experience in related program coordination, administration experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**
* Self\-motivated with the ability to exceed patient expectations.
* Excellent organizational skills to effectively handle multiple tasks.
* Flexibility to support change, with varying schedules as necessary.
* Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.
* Productivity Software: Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams (messaging, virtual meetings, file sharing) and Share Point.
* Electronic health records software (EPIC Mychart preferred).
* Utilization of Paycom, Relias Learning, and PolicyTech systems.
**CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, MEMBERSHIPS AND REGULATIONS**
* A valid California driver’s license and a good driving record will be required at the time of appointment and must be maintained throughout employment.
* Current AED CPR certification or attainment within 6 months of hire.
* Applicants must successfully pass a pre\-employment physical exam, tuberculin skin test or x\-ray and urine drug screen test (to include marijuana).
* Health must be adequate to perform all duties of the position.
* Must pass criminal background check.
