Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently seeking a National Sales Manager, CPDI to join our team. This position is based at our Toronto, ON facility and offers benefits from day one. *The total compensation salary range for this role is $175,000 \- $220,000 per year inclusive of the bonus.* *Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.* **What you’ll do:** ------------------- The National Sales Manager is responsible for leading all sales activities across Canada for the Critical Power and Digital Infrastructure (CPDI) Division, delivering profitable growth, market share expansion, bookings performance, customer satisfaction and channel effectiveness. This role provides leadership to regional sales teams, drives channel excellence, and ensures disciplined execution of sales strategies, plans, operating reviews, pipeline management and forecast accuracy. **Primary Function** Lead national sales activities to achieve business objectives in alignment with strategic plans. Develop, coach and support regional sales leaders while driving growth through direct and indirect channels. Ensure consistent execution of sales processes, business reviews, customer engagement, channel management, market intelligence and cross\-functional alignment across Canada **Essential Functions** * Lead national sales strategy, execution and performance across regions, channels, verticals and customer segments. * Develop and implement strategic sales plans that expand profitable revenue, increase market share, and strengthen Eaton's competitive position across Canada. * Hold full accountability for overall national sales performance, including bookings, revenue growth, market share expansion, customer satisfaction, and channel effectiveness. * Drive business results across regions, strategic accounts, vertical markets, channel segments, and both direct and indirect sales organizations. * Lead, coach and develop Regional Sales Managers and sales teams fostering a high\-performance culture. * Manage national channel strategy including distributors, agents and partners. To improve coverage, resolve conflicts and strengthen growth accountability. * Oversee sales incentive programs (SIP) alignment, execution, performance feedback and payout review. * Oversee sales agent strategy \& commissions. * Oversee Eaton’s distributor program (EDAP) contributions for CPDI. * Lead forecasting, pipeline management and performance reporting by region, account and channel. * Review strategic opportunities, major bids and large projects to assess customer needs, decision process, competitive position, approval requirements, close plans and next steps. * Develop and maintain executive relationships with key accounts and stakeholders. * Drive digital tool adoption including CRM, forecasting and analytics platforms to improve sales execution and decision\-making. * Partner with product management, marketing, pricing, service, operations, finance and leadership teams to drive execution. * Monitor market trends, competitor activity and recommend strategic actions. * Lead talent development, succession planning and performance management. * Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and ethical practices. **Qualifications:** ------------------- **Basic Required Qualifications** * Post secondary degree / diploma or a combination of education and relevant experience. * 10\+ years of progressive sales experience. * 5\+ years of leadership experience managing sales teams. * Legally authorized to work in Canada and valid driver’s licence. **Preferred Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering discipline * Experience in power quality, critical power, electrical infrastructure, digital infrastructure, or related technical solutions. * Experience leading geographically dispersed sales teams. * Bilingual in French / English is an asset. * Demonstrated success building executive customer relationships and leading effective issue resolution. * Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, senior leaders, engineers, technicians, and cross\-functional partners. * Experience managing national accounts, strategic channels, distributors, agents, or parter ecosytems. **Skills for success:** ----------------------- * Strong strategic thinker with demonstrated business acumen and the ability to develop and execute plans that drive sustainable growth and measurable business results. * Deep understanding of channel sales, distribution management, partner ecosystems, and complex customer coverage models across multiple markets and regions. * Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and executive stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally. * Proven leadership capabilities, including coaching, talent development, succession planning, performance management, and building high\-performing teams. * Ability to operate effectively within a matrixed, cross\-functional, and geographically dispersed organization while driving alignment and accountability. Success is measured through profitable growth, forecast accuracy, sales productivity, customer experience, channel execution, talent development, operational excellence, and effective cross\-functional collaboration. * All positions may require participation in video and in\-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
