In addition, our students have the opportunity for experiential learning in our clinics, which are open to the public. **Position Overview:** Georgian College is seeking a dynamic and community\-focused Health Promotion Specialist \& Project Manager to lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of a multi\-year, community\-based health initiative. This role combines strategic project leadership with hands\-on health promotion, focusing on improving access to care, enhancing community partnerships, and advancing innovative models of service delivery and education. The successful candidate will play a central role in coordinating activities across curriculum development, community engagement, service delivery, applied research, and operational implementation. Working collaboratively with internal departments, faculty, students, and external partners, the incumbent will ensure the successful execution of project objectives, including development of training programs, delivery of community\-based services, and evaluation of outcomes that improve health and well\-being for equity\-deserving populations. This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong leadership, project management expertise, and a passion for community impact and applied learning. **Job Details:** Job posting date: July 8, 2026 Department: Health, Wellness and Sciences Location: Barrie Campus (hybrid work environment; travel within the region required) Classification: Administration (contract; end date March 31, 2028\) Employment Type: Full Time (Contract) Hours of Work: 37\.5 hours per week Salary Range: $105,376\- $140,501 per year **Key Responsibilities:** **Project Leadership \& Implementation** * Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of a complex, multi\-year health initiative, ensuring alignment with project milestones, deliverables, and reporting requirements * Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies * Coordinate procurement, operational readiness, and implementation of specialized equipment, mobile services, and learning environments * Oversee financial tracking, reporting, and accountability for project resources **Health Promotion \& Community Engagement** * Design and implement health promotion strategies targeting underserved and equity\-deserving communities * Build and sustain strong partnerships with community organizations, service providers, and stakeholders * Conduct needs assessments and utilize evidence to inform programming and service delivery models * Lead community outreach, engagement activities, and service delivery coordination across multiple sites, including mobile and community\-based settings **Curriculum \& Training Development** * Collaborate with faculty and subject matter experts to develop and implement a certificate/micro\-credential and professional development training programs * Support creation of digital and experiential learning opportunities for students and professionals * Facilitate student involvement in community\-based practice and applied learning experiences **Operations and Service Delivery** * Support the design, testing, and implementation of innovative service delivery models * Coordinate operational workflows including patient/client engagement, scheduling, and service logistics * Ensure readiness and effective use of specialized facilities and mobile service units **Research, Evaluation \& Reporting** * Lead data collection, analysis, and evaluation of program outcomes, including participation, satisfaction, and health impacts * Prepare reports and knowledge dissemination materials to share insights, outcomes, and best practices * Support applied research activities and continuous quality improvement **Collaboration \& Stakeholder Relations** * Work closely with internal teams including faculty, administration, and leadership to ensure alignment and integration * Engage subject matter experts, contractors, and external partners to advance project goals * Represent Georgian College externally, strengthening partnerships and community impact **Qualifications** * Master’s degree in Health Promotion/Public Health * Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in health promotion, community health, or public health initiatives * Demonstrated project management experience, ideally managing complex, multi\-stakeholder initiatives * Experience with community engagement and partnership development, particularly with underserved populations * Knowledge of program evaluation, research methodologies, and data analysis * Experience supporting or developing education, training, or curriculum initiatives is an asset * Strong financial management and reporting skills * Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship\-building skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment * Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly **Why Work with Us?** Georgian’s multiple campuses are in some of the most sought\-after areas in Central Ontario.
