This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your law enforcement or military background in a fast\-paced, rewarding setting where safety is always the top priority. **Duties** * Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety protocols are followed * Monitor CCTV surveillance systems to identify suspicious activity or security breaches in real\-time * Enforce security policies by controlling access points for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors * Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, incidents, or emergencies using conflict management skills and first aid knowledge when necessary * Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring official intervention * Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incident reports, and security observations for record\-keeping and analysis * Perform loss prevention activities by identifying potential theft or vandalism and taking appropriate action **Requirements** * Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a focus on armed security operations * Valid certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and first aid procedures * Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems and conducting visual inspections * Knowledge of conflict management techniques to de\-escalate tense situations effectively * Ability to respond swiftly to emergencies while maintaining professionalism under pressure * Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security best practices * Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration with emergency responders and team members Join us as an Armed Security Officer in Frederick County and be part of a dedicated team committed to creating a safe environment through vigilance, professionalism, and proactive security measures.
