Our vision is simple: to provide the best possible training experience for our Armed Forces. **What You’ll Do** **AP Electrical / Electrical QS – Career Defining Opportunity** We’re offering a rare chance for an ambitious electrical engineer to step into a dual‑path role combining AP Electrical (HV/LV) development with Qualified Supervisor (QS) responsibilities. **What makes this opportunity stand out** * Full AP Electrical HV/LV training provided * All study fully funded * AP allowances paid once achieved (LV – £1,320, HV – £1,650\) * Clear long‑term progression and mentoring opportunities **Your AP Electrical Development** You’ll train towards becoming an Authorised Person (HV \& LV), gaining hands‑on experience in: * LV \& HV switching, isolation, earthing and safety documentation * Planning outages and producing switching programmes * High voltage testing, fault location and network re‑energisation * Managing safe systems of work and issuing Permits to Work * Liaising with clients and supporting safe delivery on live networks * Mentoring trainees as you progress **Your QS Responsibilities** As the region’s NAPIT/NICEIC Qualified Supervisor, you’ll ensure electrical compliance across all works: * Overseeing testing, inspection and certification * Signing off EICs, EICRs and Minor Works * Ensuring compliance with BS7671 and NAPIT/NICEIC standards * Supporting site teams with technical guidance and fault finding * Preparing for audits and maintaining high‑quality installation standards * Being part of an on‑call rota 1 in 4 weeks (overtime/TOIL applicable) * Carrying out electrical reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across the estate **What We’re Looking For** **Essential** * HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical Engineering * NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation * C\&G 2391 Testing \& Inspection * 18th Edition * Previous QS experience (NAPIT/NICEIC) * ECS Gold Card / JIB Approved Electrician * Full UK Driving Licence **What You’ll Get** At Landmarc, we don’t just offer a job, we offer a package that supports your wellbeing, your family and your future.
