**The Opportunity**
Our Electrical Engineering team in **Vancouver, BC** is shaping the next generation of buildings across British Columbia and the Yukon. As an **Electrical Engineer‑in‑Training** , you will help design safer, smarter, resilient spaces—places where people live, learn, heal, and thrive.
Your work will support projects in sectors such as **commercial, healthcare, education, transportation, and light industrial** , enabling you to grow your technical capabilities and contribute to meaningful, community‑impacting outcomes.
**Your Impact**
* Design electrical systems—including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, data and security—for diverse building types across BC and the Yukon.
* Develop electrical BIM models in collaboration with architectural, structural, mechanical and civil teams.
* Prepare drawings, technical documentation, and specifications supporting project delivery.
* Apply the BC Building Code, Canadian Electrical Code and relevant standards to ensure compliant, high‑quality designs.
* Complete system calculations and modelling using industry‑standard tools.
* Participate in construction reviews and contribute to construction‑phase coordination and administration.
* Support project teams with timely communication, client coordination and documentation.
* Contribute to project tracking, quality assurance, and other team processes that drive successful outcomes.
**The Skills That Set You Apart**
* Electrical Engineering degree with **EIT registration with EGBC** (or eligibility to register).
* 2\+ years of experience in electrical design consulting for buildings.
* Curiosity, initiative, attention to detail, and an organized approach to managing tasks and deadlines.
* Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary project teams and contribute to fast‑paced submissions.
* Proficiency with **Microsoft Office** and **AutoCAD** ; familiarity with **Revit** , **AGI** , or **ETAP** is an asset.
* Working knowledge of relevant electrical and building codes and standards in Canada.

**Compensation**
**AB, BC, NT, NU, SK \& YT:** **$73,400 – $97,200**
**MB \& ON:** **$67,000 – $92,200**
**NB, NL, NS, PEI \& QC:** **$66,300 – $88,000**
